My name is Eric Andersen, and my wife and I own a small jigsaw puzzle company called Playing Grounded, Ltd. Our website is www.playinggroundedpuzzles.com. We mainly produce limited runs of animation art jigsaw puzzles that we then sell in the US and ROW. We are trying to rely less on other platforms like Amazon and Etsy and instead drive people to our website to buy. But we are having trouble getting seen because we aren’t ranking very high, if at all, on the major search engines. Currently, we are using the Yoast premium plugin, but clearly, we aren’t getting the results we hoped for.
We are looking for an SEO expert to optimize our website so it will rank higher on the major search engines. We need someone to do the initial work to achieve this, and then do periodic updates to the SEO, as needed. It would help if you have some working knowledge of the puzzle and game industry. Our audience is composed of gamers and fans of Japanese anime style art, along with people who like puzzles. Our audience is NOT the typical puzzle lover searching for the cheapest puzzles they can find since our puzzles carry a higher price tag and would be considered a higher end product.
We use Google Analytics and Google Search console to monitor the activity on our site. We run at least 2 Kickstarters a year, so much of our traffic comes from that in addition to direct traffic, probably from existing Amazon and Etsy customers. While we would like to increase the quantity of organic search traffic we are getting, we really need help increasing the quality of it since we are an online shop.
